Mass and The Holy Communion Service
Holly super
"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." John 6:53

The Holy Communion ,also called the Eucharist, the Lord's Table, the Body and Blood of Christ. Eucharist is both a Sacrament and a Sacrifice offered for our salvation. As a sacrament it is that dignified mystery through which we eat the blessed flesh of our Lord, and drink His precious blood under the form of bread and wine. Our church has the responsibility to make the Eucharist the place where fraternity becomes practical solidarity in the minds and attentions of fellow Christians.

Baptism or Christening Service
Baptism is the sacrament through which a person is born again, admission and adoption with the use of water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. As man is born bodily only once, so do spiritually born(Baptised) only once.
The church encourages parents to baptize baby boys on the 40th day of their birth, and baby girls on their 80th day. Adults who want to convert to Christian can baptize any time, but before they get baptized, they are required to know the teachings of the church, the Ten Commandments, the Seven Sacraments and the Five Pillars of Mysteries of the Church. After the baptism, adults must proclaim to the assembled congregation, their acceptance and belief in the teachings of the church.
"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
                         Mark 16:16

Sunday School and Religious Education

To help children learn unique Christian heritage, Geez alphabets which characterize Ethiopia to developed its own Unique alphabets in Africa and literature developed from very early days of tradition.
The education includes instruction for reading and writing in Ge’ez and Amharic, with emphasis on reading the Scriptures, Church music (zema), some prayers  and learning how to read until becoming a deacon.
As it is written in Deuteronomy 11:19 "And you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."

Wedding Service

The Sacrament of Matrimony is the holy service through which a man and a woman are united and given the divine grace which sanctifies their union, makes it perfect and spiritual like the unity of Christ and Church, and gives them strength to abide by the contract which mutually binds.
Our Church provides religious service for the bride and groom in accordance with the teaching of Christianity as adopted by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Pre-wedding education and confession for couples before their wedding will be given by our priests.
If you need any consultation, please contact the Church for arrangement.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work. If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!   Ecc 4:9-12

Health Service
Stethoscope
Low-income families can face personal, community, and systems barriers to receiving public supports for work, health, and family well-being. Our church is collaborating with Dr.ESKENDER GETACHEW to help peoples with low income to get basic health care service as the good Samaritan did in the bible, in which a man is robbed and beaten by thieves, and a Samaritan shows mercy on him.
